Networking 4 VoIP
In order to translate this course and test, it is strongly recommended that you use the logon ID provided to you by The SIP School and on another PC (or screen), have the course content displayed. This will help you to put into context the text that you will be required to translate.
The Networking 4 VoIP course is split into separate module and each module is split into sections that equate to a slide on the training course. Each slide has Notes that people can read and it's these notes that need translating.
Of course, as it's technical content some words and phrases will remain in English and that is expected. If you have any questions regarding translation please direct them to graham@thesipschool.com
Translation process
1) Click on Modules, then click on the Module to translate.
2) for example, if you click on 'Introduction' you will see a number of sections that each equate to a course slide.
3) The 'Blue text' is the Slide title and is not for translating
4) All the notes for the slide are broken into section for ease of translating.
5) Click on the 1st text element and you will see a machine translation that has a rating value of 50.
6) You can Click on this translation to select and then Add it. If you want, you can edit it. Also, you can ignore it and type your own in.
7) When you review and 'Human translation' the rating value is 100 which indicates a 'better translation'
EXTRA Help...
If you click on the 'Blue text' of the slide title, you will see all of the engligh and translated text together. Here you can add some formatting to the text from which we will then copy/paste into our main training system.
IMPORTANT: If you edit any of the translated text, then the formatting for that 'slide' will need to be re-done - therefore, it is better to translate all the text and do the formatting at the end.
Once you have added a translation, you will notice the red marker on the right - turn to green. These markers will help you easily see if you have missed any text.
